More confirmation why Alexander Wang is one of the biggest designers in NY right now. He described his Spring 13 RTW collection as being all about dissection - “We wanted the garments to float on the girls, but not in an ethereal way.” The design team had to invent their own type of nylon for the floating garments as regular fish line melted away under the steam iron. Designer AND innovator.
